Lucius then made his way into the Clover Kingdom at some point. Lucius then informs him that with the powers of the devils, they will be able to recreate humanity into a world without fear of death. When Allen had been murdered by a devil that attacked their forces, Zenon went back to Lucius to take up his offer of becoming a devil host, much to Lucius's appeasement. Despite this, Zenon turned down Lucius' offer as he was inspired by his friend, Allen Fiarain, of becoming the commander in chief of the Mage Defense Force. Lucius then tells Zenon that he sees greater aptitude of becoming a devil host than either his brother and sister. Lucius then approached him and said for him to not worry, saying he was the one that was like him the most. One day when Zenon had injured himself, Lucius watched as his siblings mocked him for getting himself hurt. At some point, he had became the host of devil, Astaroth, to learn more about his origin. He was regarded as an exceptional being for possessing two souls in one body the other being Julius Novachrono who was firmly against him. Lucius was born in the Zogratis family as the one with the greatest potential as a devil-host. He sees great potential in many individuals that seek to become Magic Knights, regardless of their place in the social hierarchy, and is very much open to seeing them achieve great results. Nonetheless, he takes his role as the Wizard King seriously as his charisma and wisdom of knowledge has inspired many to becoming Magic Knights and following him to the end.
He would often display a childish side of himself in regards to magic, especially when he comes across magic that is new to him. His other half, Julius Novachrono, played his role as the benevolent Wizard King of the Clover Kingdom. Likewise, he was very pleased to see his brother eventually give in to his offer. Lucius saw greater potential in Zenon becoming a devil host than either Dante or Vanica, and wished he would join alongside his siblings of becoming devil hosts. Unlike his other siblings, Lucius was the only one who sympathized with his younger brother, Zenon Zogratis, believing he was very much like him. Likewise, he views Asta as the very flaw of his ideal world, as Asta is a being with no magic power and instead wields Anti-Magic, the very thing that threatens Lucius' vision. Lucius believes he is bringing peace to the world and hence views himself as its saviour. Because of this, he is very much willing to sacrifice the lives of many for the sake of accomplishing his goal. Doing so will allow everyone to have equal magic power amongst themselves. He desires to eliminate the fear of death upon humanity by granting them bodies that will regenerate them from any near death experience. Lucius is a sinister individual that believes that humanity as a whole is weak in its current state and that it is difficult to protect all of them. When he transformed himself into a child, his hair slightly grew a bit and wore a smaller Wizard King outfit that matched his size. Like Zenon, he has short, messy black hair and like the rest of his siblings, he possesses the mark of a devil on the right side of his forehead, his being in the shape of a sun.Īs Julius Novachrono, his hair turns into a blonde color and wears his very own outfit as the Wizard King. Lucius Zogratis is presented to have an appearance that is very identical to his younger brother, Zenon.
